Our History

Opened in 1987

It was announced on June 9th, 1986 that a library would be built in Kingston Springs as part of the Tennessee Homecoming project, with a building donated by George Blackburn of American Timberframe Log Homes. The following year, the library had a temporary space in City Hall. Our library as we know it today opened its doors on September 30th, 1990.
