Well Fall is just around the corner and the children have gone back to school so you know what time that is - our PRESCHOOL AGE STORYTIME IS BACK!  Mrs. Velvet is all set to begin our Storytime again on Thursday, September 8th at 10:30 in the morning.  Since our Summer Reading Program "One Word, Many Stories"  was so popular and we have so many books and resources about it we decided to continue the multi-cultural theme.  We will have fun with children as we learn about fables, stories, songs, food and culture of other countries all the while understanding that children around the world have all the same needs of love and caring.  Please join us for this special time of fun, stories, songs, and crafts.

 

On Saturday, October 1st we will hold our Annual Fall Waffle Breakfast and Book Sale - this is the same day as Art In the Park.  The Friends of the Library are now taking donations of gently used books, DVDs, Videos, and Audio Books for the Sale.  You can bring your donations to the library anytime during operating hours.  I want to thank Jim and Jane Caldwell, our extraordinary Waffle Makers, for coming in to make our waffle breakfast possible.  Put this special event on your calendars now because you won't want to miss it.
